A Review of Rapidity’s Autumn Print Events

Everyone at Rapidity is thrilled with the success of the autumn print events, and has loved meeting so many people with a keen interest in print. Thank you to everyone who has attended so far! The events first two events have not only been well attended, but have also received really great feedback.

The autumn print events were kicked off with a great talk from GF Smith Papers, enlightening everyone that came along with creative and inspirational paper stocks for every type of print project.

We were also joined by Sarah Askari from Papergraphics, who talked us through wide format printing and some on the creative and innovative stocks that they provide. Sarah shows examples of various wall coverings and explains the differences from traditional vinyl printing.

Although the print events as a whole have been inspirational, the most popular part of the print events so far has definitely been the tour around the Rapidity facilities. Rapidity Marketing Manager, Lawrence Dalton said:

“Most attendees have found the Rapidity tour a particularly illuminating experience as it gives people an opportunity to see how we, and our exceptional machinery work first hand, behind the scenes.”

This really is a great opportunity to experience Rapidity’s stunning machinery in action while being explained by our highly skilled engineers. There’s even an opportunity on the tour to see the No3 Imperial Press, manufactured in 1890 (which we are extremely proud of!).

Due to the overwhelming success of the first two autumn events, we regret to inform you that we currently do not have any available spaces at the final event on the 9th of November.

Since the autumn series of Rapidity print events have been so well received, we are already planning our 2017 events – so watch this space for more information and dates! If you don’t want to miss out, make sure you’ve signed up to our mailing list.

If you’ve attended one of our autumn print events, we would really appreciate it if you could leave a review on our Facebook page!
