Rapidity has held ISO 9001 for 9 years, confirming our commitment to a consistently high standard for all our products and services. The standard and associated work practices has resulted in a number of operational efficiencies, has significantly improved our non-conformance rate and has significantly reduced waste.
Accreditation achieved 7 years ago as part of our commitment to the environment. Through our accreditation, we actively measure our power consumption and investigate ways of reducing actively, as well as recycling all waste paper, plastics, chemicals and toner. Through our own purchasing policy, all our suppliers are obliged to take an environmental audit prior to achieving ‘approved’ status.
Information Security Management
Centred around information and data security, the accreditation provides our customers with peace of mind that all data provided for personalised work, direct mail and transactional mail is dealt with in a secure and commercially sensitive manner. Not purely related to basic data, the standard covers fiscal access, individual logins, computer security and making individuals aware of what information security is.
Helping to ensure our forests are alive for generations to come is something that Rapidity is passionate about. As a result, almost our entire inventory of standard paper stock is environmentally appropriate and socially responsible.
Rapidity purchase and use paper from well-managed forests and recycled materials. We actively support and promote paper with Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) and Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certifications. These certifications allow us to purchase paper, the origin of which is guaranteed to be from sustainably managed forests.
“Rapidity’s clients are increasingly keen to demonstrate their commitment to responsible sourcing of paper and packaging products,” says Paul Manning, MD of Rapidity. “For over 20 years we have been leading the industry charge to implement responsible paper procurement policies and deliver sustainable paper solutions.”
Rapidity has been committed to the Carbon Smart programme for the last 3 years and currently holds the gold standard. The gold standard demonstrates the steps we have made to actively reduce our environmental impact. It clearly demonstrates our commitment to customers, staff and suppliers. The Carbon Smart Certification makes improving our environmental performance part of the everyday running of our business.
